FAQs

  • ‘Soma’ is a Greek word for ‘the living body known from within’, or 'known to the Self.' This knowing signifies wholeness.

  • Somatic therapeutic coaching is an experiential approach to healing and mindbody integration: whilst talk therapy deals with mental processing of past trauma, limiting patterns, and pain and grief, it doesn't get to the felt experience of insight that comes from lived experience.

    This is where somatic therapeutic coaching can create whole new levels of healing, insight, and empowerment!

    The pain, overwhelm, and coping responses manifested by trauma take us away from feeling at home in our body, and as a result there is often a split within ourselves.

    Somatic processing helps:

    • Restore the body as a place of safety while helping to expand the capacity to process body (preverbal and nonverbal) memory

    • Metabolize unprocessed emotions

    • Complete thwarted (incomplete) stress responses

    • Restore our optimal relationship to our self and the world around us

  • A medial woman is one who navigates two worlds: the material realm and the ethereal realm. She uses her ground to channel insights, wisdom, and inspiration, which she uses to heal herself and others and/or create the visions she sees in her journeying. It's my belief that all women—mothers, artists, entrepreneurs, cashiers, and veterinarians—have the capacity to be medial women because it is innate to the female body and the feminine aspects of spirit that exist in all beings.

  • All my coaching offerings are available online; however, if you are local to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, I do have availability to meet in-person at my beautiful studio in the Plateau! Just choose the "in-person" option when booking your Intake Call.

  • Whilst it's not featured on the website, I do offer variations on pricing as a means of addressing intersectional discrepancies in social equity and justice. These policies and any relevant options for you will be discussed during our Intake Session.
